Strange pets

Hows this one, crickets

Yep i have crickets as pets.

They are great and relaxing to listen to at night when they chirp. They make this sound by rubbing their legs together really fast. They are like fine tooth combs. The sound generated is dependant on the mood of the cricket.

In Ancient Japan they were used by royalty as pets and were kept in special cricket boxes.

Garden lizards

Garden lizards are fascinating to watch as they eat their bugs and laze in the sun. Easy to keep just find bugs and have a natural looking habitat.
