The Sony Ericsson w980i is an absolute stunner of a mobile phone. Its the
most beautiful thing ive ever seen and i feel like a bug that's hypnotised by one

and supports eAAC+ format and MP3. That's a lot of songs. Im not going to quote
Sony Ericssons estimate because phone companies usually quote the amount of
songs you can store in a quality which is just irritating to listen to. Most of
the time its a lot less once you've ripped your music at 192 or 128 Bitrate.
The w980i can download files off the internet somewhat like a computer.
Its got stereo speakers built into the phone so no more mono and also comes
with a built in FM Transmitter. This is the same as one of those things by
Belkin or Tunecast where you can send your music
wireless to the nearest FM
radio (You just tune in the frequency)

not disturb air planes and equipment in hospitals for example. Yo cant call or
receive calls during flight mode.
Walkman Music Player
Walkman music player lets you listen and manage your music. You can play,
rewind, fast-forward, equalise, shuffle tracks and create playlists with your
music.
Name That Tune
Name that tune will record a few seconds of the song you are listening to,
send it to track id to find out what its called. This is an amazing feature and
very advanced. But it begs the questions what's the success rate. You just hold
your phone near an audio speaker and record a few seconds.
Shake Control
Shake control is a music feature where you can hold the
Walkman button in and
shake your phone. This will change the song randomly to any of your current
playlist songs.
Playnow
Playnow lets you listen to a mp3 ringtone
before you buy it. Just incase your
not sure this is the one for you. The Sony Ericsson W980i lets you set custom
ringtones for any person in your phone book.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth lets you play multiplayer games with your
friends on your mobile
phones. You connect it to car handsfree sets and bluetooth headsets. With
bluetooth you can connect to your pc and surf the internet and print wirelessly
from a printer that supports bluetooth.
