Sony Ericsson w595 Slider Mobile Cell Phone

A new beauty from Ericssons walkman line with a 2GB included card and support for HSDPA networks. It has a QVGA resolution LCD screen and a 3.2mpx camera to take advantage of that nice LCD display. sony ericsson walkman w595

This sweet slide phone has all the usuals like Bluetooth an USB as well as direct printing with Pictbridge.

Built in motion sensors for use with the walkman music player to change, play, pause etc. The Sony Ericsson w595 will play the standard mp3, AAC and many other common music formats.

The SensMe technology from Sony Ericsson will create playlists for you based on mood or tempo, happy or sad, slow or fast. Also included is mega bass, you can never have enough bass. The Sony Ericsson w595 has built in high quality stereo speakers and can split the audio between two sets of headphones. See sharing is good.

The Digital camera has 2.5 digital zoom, why bother i say. You also get playnow, mp3 ringtones and a FM stereo radio that has RDS support (RDS lets the station display additional information about the station and tracks playing, only if the station uses this feature)

The w595 supports card sizes higher than 2GB but im not sure upto what. It uses a memory stick micro card.

HSDPA lets you download entire songs in seconds, surf mobile internet fast and stream video nicely. The W595 supports the UMTS 2100MHz band (HSDPA up to 3.6Mbit/s) which is largely used in Australia for 3G connectivity. There's video calling that works by a camera on the front of the phone designed specifically for video calling.

The LCD screen is made up of 262,144 colours and is 320x240 pixels. As with the walkman range, the music functions are made swift and easy. The w595 has music keys on the front of the phone and the normal alpha numerical keys are located inside the slider.

It will be released in four colours: active blue, cosmopolitan white, jungle grey, and ruby black

The Sony Ericsson W595 will be released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2008
