    Overview

    The Camera -

The camera has the following resolutions:

    1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480, 320 x 240, 160 x 120 pixels.

    Video resolutions are 640 x 480, 352 x 288, 176 x 144, and 128 x 96 pixels.
Camera is used with the screen on the side, giving a real camera feel.

Camera effects are as follows: Sepia, Negative and Greyscale.

You can pick the best shot because the camera can take several pictures fractions of a second appart from each other, allowing you to pick the right moment.

Self Timer, Flash Light and Night Mode are the features included.

Video has sound and can be recorded in Greyscale Negative and Sepia.

Video can be recorded for as long as you want providing you have enough memory left to use.

Video displays the remaining time you have left to record with the remaining memory.

Images are displayed with the approx number of images left that can be recorded on the remaining memory.

Video Recorder is quite good compared to other phones with the same features.

Camera is quite good for a 2MPX despite the shots can have the odd stray pixel (colored spot) in the wrong place (still good quality tho)

    Music

FM Radio and MP3's sound good through nokia headphones.

The FM Radio has visual radio which means the station can broadcast text about lets say the current song playing and images of the artist maybe.

    The Looks and Functionality

Design is strong and sturdy. The phone closes flush and feels quite good in the palm of your hand..

Keys are easy to press, bar the top line below the slider.

The Interface is bright and colourful, easy to navigate through.

    Downsides/Disappointments

Internal memory could be bigger, just in case you forget to put in the miniSD when you go out and you want to take some pictures.

Top keys are too close to the slider and a little hard to push.

Camera could have a macro feature for taking close ups eg flowers.

    Summery..

I have not come across a mobile phone that has every thing and performs perfect. But if these sound good to you you'll be happy

The Nokia 6280 is on of those phones that you can wip out of your pocket, sit it on the table, sit back, fold your arms and think to your self "ah you know that this phone is better than yours, yours and proberly yours".

Its an upper middle class, sophisticated business type feeling phone.

Great shots will be taken with this beauty, for all purposes.

You will have a lot of fun with this video recording phone.

Hours of music listening pleasure (provided you have a big miniSD card inserted)

Sitting in the doctors surgery wont be boring with the java games you can play on this little baby.

You'll be able to sit back, put your feet up and talk with the loud speaker on while having your hands free for whatever.

No need to put your face right up to the screen seeing that the screen is quite large.
