The Nintendo DSi Review And Pictures
First of all lets begin by
saying that the nintendo dsi review has been great so far besides a few
hickups. Nintendo has released its new
line of the Nintendo ds, the Nintendo DSi. The Nintendo DSi comes with a
larger screen and a built in digital camera at 640x480. Nintendo has
ditched the GBA slot which is a real pain but have made the screen 17%
larger in size which is what we all want. The Nintendo DSi
Review has revealed that the ndsi comes with
audio enhancements such as the ability to adjust playback and pitch and
is loaded with a 3.25 inch screen. That’s not all, the NDSi comes with a
SD memory card for storing photos and games etc. I think this is
especially interesting seeing you can get a hold of your own roms and
tune the Nintendo DSi to play them. Just how compatible the NDSi is with
older roms like snes I have no idea, that’s even if it can play them as
Nintendo has made no mention of older games compatibility. I personally
believe that if you own the original roms then there should be no harm
in loading on an emulator to the Nintendo DSi and cramming that card
full of old roms lol. This is why we love reviewing products like the
nintendo dsi, reviews are our passion as to help consumers and we are
huge technology fans.
Thank
god in today's day and age you will be able to add third party apps to
it.
The
microphone makes a nice addition seeing you are able to record voice
samples onto the device. Also is its ability to play music files but
unlike mp3 players and mobile phones does not support mp3 music only AAC
music playback.
Today's technology seems to be moving towards touch screen functionality
and the dsi comes with a longer stylus this time round.
The
reduced battery life is one of the biggest downsides with the nintendo
dsi seeing these added features below will zap battery life even
quicker;
-
Vga
camera, 0.3 megapixels at 640x480 resolution. (translation, thats pretty
poor for a camera) Dual cameras are built in allowing you to switch
between them but its unknown why at this point in time. About a dozen
filters to add effects to the pictures might make you forget its 0.3mp.
-
Such
filters include
frames
like heart borders, kaleidoscope
Store
pictures on a Brain Training style calendar to build albums.
-
Watch
visualisations as you listen to music.
-
You
can download the free Opera web browser (thats right you can do SOME web
browsing)
-
Wi-Fi,
blue light indicates wifi activity. Built in Wi-Fi security, includes
WPA and WPA2
-
Voltage input is apparently 4.6 rather than 5.2
More
-
256MB
of built in memory with SD card expandability.
-
The
ability to download new firmware as its released.
A
chalky matte finish, ,reduces fingerprint marks on the dsi's surfaces.
The
slider power button has been replaced by a round button on the bottom
left of the bottom screen.
You
now can hot swap game cards which means you can remove and replace the
game while the power is still on (apparently)
One of
the biggest problems is that Guitar Hero's add on no longer works
because the GBA slot has been removed from the dsi.

Nintendo Dsi Review
The Nintendo DSi will have
access to the DS Shop allowing you to purchase things (probably
wallpapers and games) and also has a built in internet browser. The good
old Nintendo will give new NDSi owners 1000 Points to spend at the DS
shop aswell. This nintendo dsi review was a fun one at that and we will
be contributing more to this nintendo dsi review as any problems and
extreme praises arise.

Drawbacks
- The nintendo dsi
review found that the only real major problem with the dsi is its lack
of a GBA slot.
The Nintendo Dsi is from
the nintendo ds, nintendo ds lite family. CNet has more information on
