Telstra's successful ad campaign with people passing a box/present while going about their day is one of the four ads in the "spread the good stuff promotion"
This is a great ad because of the fact that its not shoving a whole heap of information in your face its just getting a simple point across. Its non intrusive in the sense that the loud factor isn't there unlike a lot of other annoying ad campaigns
All four of the spread the good stuff ads end in the present popping open to reveal a lot of colours.
The ads is promoting new 3g services
Optus's ad campaign as follows: Optus has been using cgi animals for a while now. It works well both on flyers and the screen. One particular memorable ad was the ape talking about black and white,
Sportsman's warehouse ads as follows: For a very long time now the sportsman's warehouse has been using a yellow tennis ball with a face on it that talks frowns smiles etc. This has been a particular favourite of mine ever since the release of the concept. The reason this works well is obvious, its a talking piece of sports equipment. Same as the above its non intrusive both in sounds and image. Therefore its not at all annoying.
Recently the sportsman's warehouse has changed to a more un-cartoon like tennis ball, which i think is a bad move.
